CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) gibt heute bekannt, dass das angekündigte öffentliche Übernahmeangebot der CGI Nordic Holdings Limited, einer hundertprozentigen Tochtergesellschaft von CGI, zum Erwerb von Acando AB angenommen wurde. Acando ist ein führendes IT-Management- und Beratungsunternehmen in Nordeuropa und Deutschland. CGI hält nun rund 93,7% der ausstehenden Aktien von Acando, was rund 94,3% der ausstehenden Stimmen entspricht. Die für den Abschluss des Angebots erforderlichen behördlichen Genehmigungen wurden eingeholt, weitere Bedingungen des Angebots wurden ebenfalls erfüllt. Durch die Übernahme von Acando wird CGI um mehr als 2.100 hochqualifizierte Berater aus fünf Ländern in ganz Europa erweitert, insbesondere in den wichtigsten Metromärkten Stockholm, Oslo und Hamburg. Mehr als 500 Mitarbeiter sind davon in Deutschland tätig.

In Schlüsselbranchen wie Manufacturing, Retail und Behörden ergänzt Acando die globale Präsenz und die Expertise von CGI durch strategische Beratung, Systemintegration und kundenorientierte digitale Innovationsfähigkeit.
