    Position Description

    Looking for a dynamic opportunity evolving systems for a client. We are looking for a Scrum Master with experience in systems development/systems integration to work on converting a legacy system to Java. Persons should have a high degree of consulting ability, and be able to lead a team of people to support the conversion of PowerHouse application to Java. CGI is leveraging an existing conversion framework to convert the program, and we need someone to lead a team of test automation and development professions to complete the conversion work. Someone who has a high degree of initiative and technical knowledge will find this position interesting.     Your future duties and responsibilities
    Accountable for management of a scrum team. This includes leading a team and removing the roadblocks to enable them to perform as efficiently as possible.

    Analyze project backlog, negotiate and oversee collaboration between team resources for the efficient delivery of system releases into the client's production environment. This includes the following tasks:
    Management of sprint and project backlog
    Communication and status reporting
    Compliance of all project deliverables with quality requirements
    Managing project risks and issues, including escalation as required
    Change and configuration management
    Publish a Project Status Report as required by the client
    Facilitates team commitment to sprint deliverables
    Accountable to ensure the quality of work produced by Atlantic Canada teams
    Manages conflicts arising within the projects
    Selecting metrics for monitoring and controlling the project
    Direct and supervise team resources

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    Must Have Technical Skills
    Scrum Master Certification
    Ability to development budgets, statements of work, resource plans, and work plans
    Coordination and management of client reviews and approvals
    Excellent estimation and scheduling skills
    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project applications
    Influencing and building consensus
    Delivery team leadership
    Minimum 2-year post-secondary education in IT or related disciple.
    Attention to detail
    Excellent technical documentation skills
    Strong analytical skills; ability to root cause data issues
    PMP certification is highly desirable
